On official ratings, this looks to be a cakewalk for The Leather Wedge but with his stable out-of-form and the horse returning from absence, it may well be worth taking him on. Course regular, Carol's Choice could fit the bill at a decent price. She was not disgraced when fourth to River Days in a handicap in February and is at least consistent in selling grade. Stand By has the measure of a number of these on official figures but has yet to sparkle at Wolverhampton. Top weighted Hamlyn is interesting given his last racecourse appearance. He had the beating of Torrent on that day and the Quinn stable look to be in slightly better form than of late. Jazzy Millenium is exposed in this grade but any market interest on his first visit to Dunstall Park should not be ignored.
