Verdict
A run-of the-mill Wolverhampton claimer with a number of the usual suspects taking part. Haunt The Zoo was a runaway winner of a handicap here last May but has been off the track since. John Harris' mare is going to find life very difficult since the handicapper decided to rise her 11lb for that success so the decision to switch to claiming company looks to have been a formality. Our vote goes to Just Wiz. Nick Littmoden's team are still in top form and the horse has proven very difficult to oppose in this grade having landed two prizes in his last two forays. Arpeggio is the obvious danger having finished second to Just Wiz here in January. He is favoured at today's weights but David Nicholls' team are yet to be firing and we will keep a watching brief. Air of Esteem is at least fit and did nothing wrong in landing a similar race at Southwell last time out. On official figures, he has plenty to find at today's weights. Similar comments applying to recent course and distance winner, Love's Design. Of the remainder. The remainder make little appeal on all recent evidence.
