        Verdict

        Triskaidekaphobia, Strathmore and Desert Opal look the most likely protagonists in this field and we side with Triskaidekaphobia. The perennial front runner put up a career best on the artificial surfaces when making all to win a recent contest and if he is in the same mood today, he will be difficult to beat. Strathmore should have won far more than he actually has. He doesn't look the easiest of rides but Jamie Moriarty appeared to find the key to him last time out. Desert Opal put up a fine run at Lingfield last time out. His better form has obtained here at Dunstall Park so a bold bid is anticipated. Multahab has shown form when allowed to dictate the pace but there is no guarantee of that here. Music Box Express was quietly supported last time out and blinkers are tried tonight in order to winkle out a second success. Lord Of The Reins still appears in the grip of the assessor at present and is best watched again. Triskaidekaphobia has to defy a penalty but in his current form, he has every possibility of repeating the dose.
