        Verdict

        Piano Key is selected ahead of Karmest with Smoothly Does It perhaps best of the remainder. All three ran here in a similar contest over a mile and a half just over a fortnight ago. Smoothly Does It was sent off a well backed favourite but failed to get competitive and finished a well beaten seventh. Karmest fared best but has been handed a 4lb rise in the weights and may also have benefited from the way that the race was run. Piano Key was only 2 lengths away in third and may be able to give her rival more to do this afternoon. This is a more realistic target than her latest outing and her trainer has secured the services of an up and coming apprentice; the pair may be able to combine successfully. Munching Mike and The Diamond Bond are considered but Piano Key may be able to hit the right notes.
