Quarrymount showed a liking for testing conditions when chasing home Sharajan in heavy ground at Lingfield last month and he has to be respected but preference is for Brendan Powell's multiple point-to-point winner Dr Hart, with Honour High rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has shown gradual improvement under rules and showed a liking for soft surface in points so the ground should not be of concern for the eight-year-old, who gets the vote. Tom George's Kilbeggan Blade is better than he showed in the Classic Chase at Warwick last time and could be of interest back over hurdles on ground that suits. Nick Gifford's Push The Port has shown a respectable level of form and has to be considered but looks booked for a place at best and of more interest may be the Lady Herries runner Honour High, who is open to plenty of improvement after just three runs over hurdles. Dr Hart has solid claims though and he is preferred.
