In this maiden contest, Fairly Honest gets the call ahead of History Boy and Stanley George. Fairly Honest's form reads pretty well coming into this race and a race of this nature looks to be well within his compass. His third behind Salient last time has since received a good boost with that horse winning and, given that he acts on Lingfield's Polytrack, must have a chance of doing so here. Watch how Tivers Song goes in the previous race on the card for Born West was seventh in the same contest that that horse ran in at Kempton when debuting and showing promise. Heart Of Cornwall represents the Godolphin operation but he will need to build substantially on his Nottingham debut if he is to feature today although that run, admittedly, came on testing going. History Boy's form is pretty solid for this level, so give him some thought, as is Stanley George's and he has proven himself adept over course and distance. Finally, the Mark Johnston-trained Zar Solitario cost 260,000 euros and is one to watch in the betting but, for the selection, we will stick with Fairly Honest.
