Climate can prove too hot for his rivals, the best of whom may be Jordan's Light, Sol Rojo and Stevedore. Climate is one of four course-and-distance scorers in this line-up, and on recent evidence looks the one to beat on this occasion at least. Kevin Ryan's charge had the speed to win over seven-furlongs here before being turned out just 24-hours later to pop in over today's trip, and does not look badly treated in this amateur riders' event. Jordan's Light carries a 6lb penalty for a hard-fought win at Southwell eight days ago, and has yet to sample the delights of the Polytrack, while Sol Rojo is a consistent sort, but is creeping back up the weights. Stevedore showed signs of a return to form last time and is worth noting for a place at least, but Climate lines up in good heart and can complete a hat-trick.
