Cotton King once had a 240,000 guineas price tag to his name but hasn't developed and was resold for a mere £7,000 in April. He is opposed although a step-up in trip and on handicap debut could do better. STRAVERSJOY gets the vote looking for a course hat-trick. She runs under a penalty but has looked the part with those two most recent performances here and is nominated to make it three-in-a-row. Motarjm, Resplendent Ace and Carlton Scroop have all come close seconds recently and are respected as major players but the biggest dangers may be New Code and Starburst. New Code didn't seem to enjoy the Fibresand at Southwell on his only start on the all-weather but has claims on the Polytrack after winning at Brighton. Starburst prefers the artificial and comes here after winning last time. However, our vote goes to Straversjoy.
