In depth

Verdict

Golden Jubilee still doesn't appeal as being especially well treated and Nouvelle Ere and Teide Park, the latter the sole course winner in the line-up, are pretty exposed nowadays. In contrast, FIELD OF LIGHT (NAP) has only had five starts for Ed Dunlop and has shown more than enough on each of his last three starts to suggest a handicap such as this is well within his remit. He's on a fair mark, stayed this trip well when upped to 1m4f last time and has experience of artificial surfaces. He also arrives in better form than his rivals. Fellow three-year-old Joshua Potman may be better than he's shown to date.
