The American bred Beggars End is taken to defy his lack of a recent outing and land this. The selection displayed some promise in a backend Newmarket maiden, appearing to get outpaced two furlongs out before doing its best work in the closing stages. In what is a weak maiden he appeals as the most likely winner. Princess Gee ran above herself in a Great Leighs maiden last time, where a couple of highly regarded sorts were just in front of her. Judging on her style of running in that contest, it would not appear as if a drop back in trip is what she requires but that Great Leighs effort leaves her in with a big shout. Sirvino encounters the all-weather for the first time having raced in testing conditions on his two outings of late. Scary Movie was noted doing its best work in the closing stages at Bath last time and will be of interest in handicaps but Beggars End gets the vote.
