Legalis is fancied to bounce back to form in this tricky sprint handicap, with Risk Free, Better Off and Noble Locks also on the short list. Kevin Ryan's horse was a winner in Dubai last year, and landed the spoils in the rather less sunny climes at Wolverhampton last December, beating Only One Legend by a neck in a good time, with the pair clear. The runner-up has won twice since, and while Legalis has failed to add to that success in two runs on turf, he is worth supporting back over this course and distance. Risk Free was just touched off in a course and distance handicap last month, and although slightly disappointing in two sellers since then, they were over seven furlongs and he is not without a chance back at this trip. Noble Locks is a consistent sort who was not winning out of turn when scoring here last week and should again be thereabouts, while Better Off was in good form earlier in the year, but was tailed off last time out and may just be best watched here.
