In depth
Verdict
Pistoletto won over today’s trip at Lingfield before struggling over 1m2f at the same track while Global Heat has been keeping much better company at Meydan, though hasn’t won for over a year. Chai Yo Power has been off the track since completing a hat-trick with a victory at Kempton in August and is 8lb higher on his return but GOOLWA ended last term with a Listed victory at Bath and made a winning reappearance last season - a bold bid is expected from Andrew Balding’s filly in this. Ice Pyramid looks up against it on his first outing since 2020.
