        Verdict

        BRIGAND (NAP) came good over today’s trip at Chelmsford and an apprentice’s allowance negates most of a 4lb penalty. He can go in again and confirm running with Rose Tinted Spirit in the process. City Gent found one too good when a short-priced favourite at Kempton last time and Epic Fantasy was well beaten when second over 7f here recently. Former Ballydoyle inmate Mount Wellington is weighted to beat both of the latter pair on his debut for new connections while Becker wasn’t beaten far despite finishing only fifth here in October.
