Blue Power is taken to go in again, with Lizhar expected to make his presence felt as well in the nursery. Blue Power has improved gradually since finishing down the field at Haydock on his debut in September, and after finding one too good here at Wolverhampton, duly went one better at Southwell. He looked like the winner a long way out, and had plenty in hand at the finish, enough to suggest that he can defy a rise in the weights. Lizhar had been running well against decent opponents before gaining due reward at Southwell. She has not done too badly in her two nursery engagements, but could do with a bit of respite from the handicapper. However, we return to Blue Power as our idea of the winner.
