In depth

Verdict

Dr Cerullo could provide the answer here, with Ctesiphon and Bretton possibly his biggest dangers. The well-bred Dr Cerullo hails from the in-form Colin Tinkler stable and he has form enough to be very competitive here, even though his run at Southwell over seven last time was hardly awe-inspiring. Bretton looked last time as though he would appreciate a step up in trip and cannot be ruled out in a modest affair. Once Around runs from Terry Mills' stable and, quite well-bred, a market move would be interesting. The form of Castanetta's third at Southwell last time is plating class. Ctesiphon, from a family that can handle dirt racing, showed plenty of promise on her debut in a Redcar maiden on good to soft. She has to be on the list of possibles. Unintentional has shown some promise at six furlongs and is likely to appreciate the step up to a mile.
