A very weak race in which one finds it hard to be totally positive about any individual, however it may be that Charlotte Grey has less flaws than many; High Window and Ask No More make it to the shortlist. The selection comes here on the back of a solid run at Southwell when she was only touched off in a photograph and with the return to this trip and surface not expected to cause any problems, she should run well from a good draw. High Window also comes here on the back of a 'second place' and whilst that was encouraging, there is no guarantee that this 22-race maiden will repeat the run. Borzoi Maestro is a proven course and distance winner but his recent form has been bordering on woeful, whilst old-timer Grand View would carry these if anywhere near his best. At a price improvement may be expected from Stargazy, however this weak race can go to Charlotte Grey.
