led after 1f, ridden, edged right, headed 2f out, stayed on inside final furlong, flattered by proximity
held up, headway to chase leading pair over 2f out, one pace
always prominent, led on bit 2f out, cheekily
held up, ridden, weakened over 2f out
led 1f, chased leader until 5f out, ridden over 3f out, soon weakened
This should lie between the top three in the weights with Given A Choice getting the choice ahead of Ninth House and Sawwaah. The last mentioned has been threatening to win for some time and finally came good when successful in a Lingfield claimer last time. Tom Dascombe's gelding has to be respected and has more solid claims than Shaydreambeliever, who won a Southwell claimer two starts ago but needs to improve to trouble the judge. Hayley's Pearl is hard to recommend on all known form and of more interest has to be Nick Littmoden's Ninth House, who has shown a consistent level of form recently. Preference though is for James Given's Given A Choice who has similarly been running consistently well but in better grade and he is taken to win again.
