Dagola can add to his recent course and distance victory in what is a poor race, with Eastern Hope, J R Stevenson and Adalar out to stop him. Dagola showed a good turn of foot when scoring in handicap company for Clive Cox at Nottingham in April, so it is disappointing that he failed to progress as hoped. However, the drop to selling company here three weeks ago worked the oracle, but in controversial circumstances, as the rider of Anduril took things far too easy, allowing Dagola, sent off as favourite, to collar him close home.
