One of the highlights of the day and Wood Fern is nominated ahead of Thornaby Green and Milk and Sultana. Mark Brisbourne's charge is dropped markedly in trip and while he is difficult to win with, Ashley Hamblett encountered the wrath of the Kempton crowds after a notably below par ride. The hold-up performer has won around this circuit before and can reverse form with his rivals. Milk and Sultana was the winner on that occasion and although she will have her supporters, the course-and-distance winner has been beaten since. Thornaby Green rarely runs two races the same and there is a questionmark as to his effectiveness over the trip. Lingfield specialist, Height of Dreams is clearly better than his latest line of form suggests and is watched in the market. Sheriff's Deputy has shown nothing since leaving James Unett. Joe Jo Star is returning from an absence and may just need the run. Thomas A Beckett ran a career best at Brighton last time out but that isn't saying a lot under the circumstances. Wood Fern rates the selection in a tricky affair.
