Cree is preferred to Jennverse and Guadaloup. Willie Muir's charge has been something of a bookmakers friend but the draw is a fair one today and the value of a recent third to Turibius was advertised by that runner on Saturday afternoon. Jennverse is exposed as modest on turf but is consistent enough on this surface and might show more for this drop in trip. Guadaloup won a poor race at Southwell earlier in the week and while he cannot be crabbed for that, the surface looked particularly slow. Alastair John won a maiden around Dunstall Park at odds of 40/1 and while course form is always respected, he has a bit to do with some of these runners to reverse form. Otis B Driftwood had bits and pieces of form for Mick Quinn and the market is watched now that he is in the care of Julia Tooth. Cyfrwys is dropped to this grade for the first time and is of obvious interest in the event of any morning support. Siraj was once rated in the 70's and is on a long losing run. Cree has everything in his favour and can have few excuses on this occasion.
