Buckle And Hyde is lumbered with the vote ahead of Faraday, Homecroft Boy and La Cuvee to name but a few in the finale. Not one of these can be supported with any confidence, and so bets should be kept to the absolute minimum. Buckle And Hyde is still a maiden, but she stayed on well enough over seven furlongs at Leicester last time, and so this longer trip will at least suit, and she may be about to hit form. Farady has an absence to overcome, but any support for the Barney Curley inmate should be heeded, while Homecroft Boy gets the 7lb age allowance, and is due to go over hurdles soon. La Cuvee has first-time blinkers, but will still need to improve markedly, and all in all, this is a poor end to proceedings, with Buckle And Hyde the pick.
