In depth

Verdict

A very weak maiden in which the pin falls on Tubby Isaacs ahead of Sintenis Mac and Perlachy. The selection was only beaten by a short-head on his second start and he seemed to improve from first to second runs. With more improvement to come on for this, his third start, he looks sure to run well although he needs to learn to settle a bit better. The main danger looks to be Sintenis Mac who showed plenty of ability on his sole start at Windsor and whilst the form of that run doesn't look anything out of the ordinary, this nicely-bred sort should be afforded utmost respect especially as he was very green that day. The newcomers need checks in the betting but neither stand out, so of more interest may be Perlachy who is certainly very consistent and should appreciate the return to maiden company. At a price Jember Red could reach a place now back on the all-weather, however it is Tubby Isaacs who gets the nod.
