In depth
Verdict
Seven No Trumps, Panjandrum and Golden Dixie catch the eye here, with the vote going to Golden Dixie. The selection was winning his first race for two years when scoring for Chris Dwyer last time on his first run for the stable. With his confidence at a high, he can go well even though he drops in trip today. Seven No Trumps made eyecatching late headway when running over course and distance six days ago and, one of the more-favoured if you adjust the ratings here, ought to go well. Panjandrum returned from an absence to score over course and distance last time, and is closely weighted with Willieconquertoo on the back of that effort. The question is, can he repeat the dose? Ever Cheerful is relatively unexposed and could run well and the best of Trace Clip's 2002 form would see him strongly fancied, but his more-recent efforts have been inauspicious. Blueberry Rhyme and Only If I Laugh are course and distance winners that could run into a place, while Izmail has more out days than in days but would have a chance on the best of his Turf form. Overall, though, we return to Golden Dixie, who gets our vote in the claimer.
