Say What You See should be better suited by today's conditions than the soft ground on which he was beaten at Newton Abbot last time and is taken to resume winning ways at the main expense of stablemate Tanterari and Racing Demon. The last mentioned showed plenty of promise on his hurdling debut at Wincanton last month and should be found a suitable opportunity by Henrietta Knight before long. The Paul Nicholls-trained Kadam has given little sign of encouragement since joining current connections and is probably best left out of calculations. Of more interest may be Jonathan Geake's Keltic Rock, who found just Philomena too good over course and distance last month. He is entitled to be thereabouts and warrants respect along with Martin Pipe's Tanterari. Timmy Murphy rides the son of Safety Catch for his retained owner David Johnson and the Gowran Park bumper winner is interesting on his reappearance having shown fair form behind Willie John Daly when last seen over hurdles in March. Stablemate Say What You See holds more solid claims though and he gets the vote. The selection beat useful novice recruit Salsalino on his hurdling debut before getting bogged down in the mud at Newton Abbot. The faster surface today will help the son of Charnwood Forest who may have too much speed for his rivals.
