A large field goes to post for this maiden but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Serevi, Creme Brulee and Stoneacre Boy and the vote is given to Serevi. The selection ran well last time out when second behind King Orchios. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and given nominal improvement from a good draw he will be hard to beat. Creme Brulee rates the main danger on his latest second behind Came Back but his stable are struggling for winners and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Stoneacre Boy is another worthy of respect on his best form but he has had plenty of chances without taking one and again he looks vulnerable to a less-exposed type. Of the remainder, Mind Out is from a yard in form and could run well at a price but on official BHB figures he has a little to find with the principals and with this in mind for the winner we return to Serevi.
