      Verdict

Most of these step up in distance including Be My Beau, a runner-up here recently when finishing in front Invincible Gift and The Thunderer though is not certain to appreciate this extra distance. Wallem showed plenty of promise in both outings over a mile on Turf last year and returns to action with a chance while Theyazin is a €260,000 purchase representing the powerful Gosden yard. But RAIN GAUGE is a half-brother to Oaks heroine Dancing Rain among others and gets a speculative vote to make a winning start with James Tate’s string in fine form.
