Mobo-Baco gets a tentative vote over Zhitomir, Accendere and Three Ships in the finale. Mobo-Baco gained his last victory in selling company at Warwick in the summer, and since being switched to the new Polytrack surface has shaped very well indeed. Ron Hodges' inmate took on similar company to this last time, finishing a very close-up fourth to Midshipman, and has no more to do so gets the nod. Zhitomir beat Accendere by three-parts of a length when they met in an apprentice affair over the course and distance last time and on the same terms would be expected to uphold the form. However, the latter was having his first outing on the track and should improve. With that in mind there is little to choose between the pair. Three Ships responded well to a first-time visor when bouncing back from a dismal run at Lingfield to finish third over the course and distance a fortnight ago and can again be placed. We shall row in with Mobo-Baco to gain due reward for consistency in the last race on the card.
