Speed Dial Harry can defy topweight in the nursery, with Dragon Slayer, Norcroft and Cloann best of the opposition. Speed Dial Harry responded to a first-time visor when landing a moderate selling contest at Southwell in May and progressed to winning a maiden at Hamilton in July. Karl Burke's juvenile has had his limitations exposed since then, but ran a solid race in defeat back at Southwell last time, and does not appear to have a great deal to beat here. He gets the nod over Dragon Slayer who is still learning but who has experience of the track. Norcroft should not reverse recent form with the selection on today's terms, and of the rest, Cloann is interesting. She won a Windsor seller in June but has not been out since, and may be just the type to run up a sequence in nurseries this winter. She is perhaps best watched here though unless the market speaks in her favour, and we prefer the claims of Speed Dial Harry.
