THE GREY ONE is taken to complete the hat-trick here at the main expense of Ours and Prince Golan. Milton Bradley is having a better season and his three-year-old gelding has hit top form of late, with wins at Kempton and also over this course and distance. He has a 6lb higher mark to deal with today but the opposition doesn't look strong and he looks worth siding with. Ours is very consistent but as a result the handicapper continues to edge him up the weights, whilst Prince Golan signed off with two abject runs on the flat but may be happier on firmer ground. Flagstone has claims, whilst Dushstorm ran a fair race in defeat last time out at the track behind the selection and has a pull in the weights today. Quick Off The Mark is less exposed than many so cannot be ruled out, but in a poor finale it is The Grey One who can win again.
