Having formerly been with Aidan O'Brien, Japura makes a belated debut for Tim Pitt here and he has to be respected but MADAME HOI sets a fair standard following some fair efforts in defeat and Mick Channon's filly gets the vote ahead of Shakedown. Ed McMahon's gelding was disappointing on soft ground at Leicester last time but earlier form is solid and he has to be respected. Peter Chapple-Hyam's Laureldean Dream has run better in her last two starts, latterly on her Polytrack debut, and she has claims on the evidence of those outings. Irish raider Absa Lutte has shown improved form of late but remains a maiden after 20 starts so she may be best watched. Peter Grayson's Kilvickeon ran better here last time but needs to improve a lot on that run to trouble Madame Hoi, who looks the one they all have to beat.
