Brad's Luck does not look far off an elusive first win, but MARKET WATCHER makes more appeal and gets the vote in this stayers' contest. Brad's Luck comes out again quickly after a race over a similar trip at Lingfield on Wednesday where he never got totally involved, but stayed on quite well nonetheless. Franny Norton again gets the leg-up on this gelding, who has certainly slid to a reasonable mark and gets the three-year-old allowance, so a market check is advised. Squirtle loves a test of stamina and has won here over 1m 6f, and also at this trip elsewhere on turf. He is back below the mark from which he won at Warwick in the summer and is far from out of it. Wester Lodge has to be given consideration and was not beaten far over course and distance from this same mark last time, while Dazzling Begum has bags of stamina but doesn¿t win too often and races from a prohibitive mark tonight. Bute Street is not bred to get anything like as far as this, but ironically, he showed his best form so far when tried over slightly shorter last time and may be capable of getting closer from a 1lb lower mark. Sir Sandicliffe has just two wins from 44 attempts, yet he is still 1lb higher than either of those successes and with top weight makes little appeal, which leads us back to Market Watcher. The eight-year-old stays very well and was a course and distance winner from a 3lb lower mark in January. Seamus Fahey has had little luck in two runs on the flat and over hurdles back in Ireland since then, so returns him here, and we¿ll take the chance that he can bounce back.
