There are plenty in with a chance in the finale and we will nominate CARMENERO to see off the challenge of Tourist and Jonny Lesters Hair. The selection has plenty to recommend him as he won well at Brighton last time over 6f, he will be suited by this longer trip and he has the best of the draw. Tourist wasn't beaten far last time over 1m1f but this drop in trip is a negative for him and he may get run off his feet. Jonny Lesters Hair has been tumbling down the weights and he hinted at a return to form at Newcastle earlier in the month, so he is another to consider. Trainer Ruth Carr has had a great season and Ninth House loves it here so it would be foolish to dismiss his chance too readily now that he is dropped back in trip. Chief Exec is another with a chance, but Carmenero ticks plenty of boxes and he gets the vote.
