In a race full of unexposed handicap debutantes we make our play with one with experience in these ranks, CELTIC RANSOM, in preference to Al Shababiya and Market Puzzle. With plenty of the handicap newcomers hard to assess we at least know that the selection is racing from a competitive weight. That's after a couple of decent runs when finding just the one two good on both occasions, the latest off this mark, and in a race full of imponderables that looks decent form. Al Shababiya certainly looked progressive in two runs as a juvenile and based on the pick of those looks weighted well enough for a challenge. Market Puzzle has at least had some experience in handicaps and although he looks fairly enough treated he was well-held last time. Celebrian and Motrice are two more newcomers in this sphere and could be weighted well enough to feature, but we already know that Celtic Ransom is and that's good enough for us.
