Grand Lass has been in good form of late and has the services of Kevin Darley so looks the one to beat in this claiming stakes with Bressbee and Just Wiz the main dangers. The selection ran a fair race when a close fifth behind Geronimo last time. He has been knocking on the door on each of his last three runs and looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to score. Bressbee is another course and distance winner who could go well as he is dropped in grade after disappointing effort last time in a handicap at Lingfield. He would hard to beat on the pick of his form and could be interesting if the market speaks in his favour. Just Wiz was well supported when a disappointing second behind General on this track last time. That was a poor race and it would be a concern that he could not get his head in front in that company, so the percentage call is to oppose him here. The remainder will have to improve to trouble the principles and for the winner we return to Grand Lass.
