Verdict
Young Collier has shown nothing in three maidens over seven furlongs and a mile but gets in on a lowly mark and steps up significantly in trip so could easily find plenty of improvement for his astute handler. The son of Vettori may well prove to be a handicap snip but bookmakers are likely to take few chances with this unexposed type and looks sure to start at prohibitive odds so is passed over on this occasion against some in-form rivals. They include Raise A Melody who appeared to have a little in hand when scoring over two miles here last month and should go well despite a 7lb rise while Glory Quest and River Of Fire are consistent types and both are respected but the TEAMtalk vote goes to Reminiscent. Fulke Johnson-Houghton's charge finally opened his account when handing out a comfortable three-length defeat of the hat-trick seeking Mandoob over the course and distance on Friday and the son of Kahyasi looks worth following under a 6lb penalty.
