In depth

Verdict

A low grade event which will take little winning and Tirailleur gets the TEAMtalk vote. The daughter of Eagle Eyed was a fair fourth off a mark of 67 over the course and distance last time and had previously been a strong finishing runner-up behind a useful rival over 5f here in November. Well suited to both track and trip, she should take plenty of beating with race conditions in her favour. Singularity is an obvious danger if able to reproduce the form of his second in a claimer at Southwell last month but ran abysmally last time and can't be backed with any degree of confidence. Tommy Nutter has been in fair form of late but has a little to find with the selection while All Night Thing has struggled since landing a course and distance maiden last month.
