In depth

Verdict

GENUINE APPROVAL has slipped down the weights and went close over track and trip last month with a tongue-tie applied for the first time - John Butler’s mare can go one better in this. Threediamondrings has been threatening to end a long losing run and was placed at Leicester recently while Wallflower posted her best effort so far when runner-up over 1m2f at Chelmsford and finishing in front of Makhfar. Chasing Diamonds was beaten only a neck here in between more modest efforts and is less exposed than the likes of Howardian Hills and Melabi.
