Verdict
Polar Sun shades our verdict ahead of Farnborough and Keshya. A well connected individual, Polar Sun produced a fair effort here on his last start and gave the impression that once the penny drops, there will be more to come. In the light of the quality of the opposition, we are prepared to chance that today will be the day. Farnborough has been a moneyspinner for connections. The form of a recent second to Shush took a knock when that rival was soundly beaten at Lingfield last Saturday night. Keshya is still a maiden after nine starts. Her chance will rely ultimately on whether she can be settled in the early stages. Primeshade Promise won a recent race over eight furlongs at Chepstow. His all-weather form has been little to write home about and more is needed here. A modest handicap for fair prize money and one in which James Fanshawe's Polar Sun can take a major hand.
