Quote Unquote can land this prize at the expense of Willmar and Surely Truly. Sir Mark Prescott's charge ran a solid enough debut in light of obvious greenness and if she can consent to put her best foot forward, today looks an obvious opportunity to break her duck. Willmar ran in a stronger race on her first appearance. If anything, her breeding suggests that she'd be better over further than the minimum trip. Surely Truly floundered on soft going at Ayr and is probably much better than that affair suggests. Looking North is exposed at plating levels and should be capable of setting the early fractions. Nigella is a home-bred from the McMahon team but was unfancied on introduction and is avoided unless there is market support. Quote Unquote looks to have all the right ticks in the boxes and is duly selected.
