Official ratings lead us to focus on Headland, Polar Haze, Drury Lane, Juwwi and New Options, with the vote going to Polar Haze. The selection scrambled home at Southwell on February 3 before finishing a good fifth at the same track last time, staying on well at the finish. He comes here in good heart, acts well here, and ought to be competitive. Headland is a Wolves winner over both six and seven, so do not rule him out, a similar comment applying to the evergreen Juwwi and multiple German winner New Options, whose fourth behind Blakeset at Southwell two runs ago reads pretty well. Speedfit Free has been knocking at the door of late, but it still might not open, while each of Mizhar's three course wins have come at five furlongs. Arogant Prince makes a quick return after a course and distance seller win last time, and he too is entitled to respect. Overall, though, we are happy to side with Polar Haze.
