Course and distance winner Hiawatha makes a quick reappearance and gets the vote over Daimajin and Noul, with Pup's Pride not totally out of it either. Hiawatha, a maiden winner in Ireland, returned to form on only his only his third British start when successful in similar company before Christmas. He held every chance in the straight when upped in class and trip at Southwell last time, eventually finishing fourth to Digger, and will appreciate the drop back to this level. Daimajin won a weak seller over shorter here last week, but his owner Simon Mapletoft knows the time of day on the sand, so he should not be dismissed out of hand. Noul was beaten in a seller here before being galvanised by blinkers to score at Southwell. However, he was soundly held on a return to Dunstall Park four days ago and cannot be classed as a reliable betting proposition. Coolfore Jade receives most weight and was successful at Southwell just three days ago, but has a bit more to do and for the winner we return to Hiawatha.
