Encore Cadoudal is going the right way and can land the opener at the main expense of Speed Kris and Katies Dolphin. In need of the outing on his seasonal reappearance here in December, he just failed to land some nice bets when humping topweight into second place here on Boxing Day. Only beaten half a length by Ashleybank House, he should go one better, proving too strong in the process for Speed Kris who has a penalty to carry for his final outing in his native France. Katies Dolphin has a squeak on last season's form, but watch out for Katmandu. Howard Johnson reckons that he has plenty of ability and is one to follow this season. Maybe not today though, with Encore Cadoudal holding the best claims of all.
