In depth
Verdict
Extemporise should be good enough to land this finale, from Cross Ash and Graceful Air. Extemporise and Cross Ash met over course and distance last month in the race won by Adobe. The selection came out on top on that occasion, beating Cross Ash by a length and a quarter. On only a pound better terms Extemporise should again be capable of beating that rival. Graceful Air was rated in the sixties during the summer but a run of poor efforts has seen her plummet down the ratings. If she can discover his best form he will be a big threat to all. Of the others Wavet showed improved form last time and could also be fighting for the places, however Extemporise is in top form at present and gets the vote
