    Verdict

Musiotal gets the nod over Downland and Midnight Lace in a race where only a minimum stakes play is recommended. Midnight Lace has a fair record on the All Weather and comes here with solid claims on the best of her efforts. She has won here in the past and will be dangerous to ignore if the betting market speaks in her favour. Downland is a wily old character that has a habit of producing a good turn of foot if he consents to run to the best of his abilities. Only he will know whether that will happen today though, so he is for the brave only. Another to have a look at is Resplendant Prince, whose yard have been in cracking form recently. However, he is hard to win with and needs everything to drop into place for him. Adimittedly, Musiatol also has a similar profile and is not one to go overboard with. He does, however, have some solid form to his name in the context of this race and looks to have been found a weak race to stamp his authority on. Kevin Ghunowa knows him well and the fact that he can utilise his 7lb claim is a major factor in giving Musiatol another chance today.
