In depth

Verdict

Santafiora scored over track and trip recently with Carpet Time in close attendance and Spirit Power further behind. The latter pair re-oppose on better terms while Time To Reason went close to winning on the all-weather for the first time when beaten only a nose over the minimum trip here. Mother of Dragons finished third behind Deeds Not Words at Lingfield last month and the latter went on to beat VERY HONEST a short-head at the same track. Brett Johnson’s charge gets a change of headgear today and may find the modicum of improvement needed to get his head back in front.
