    Verdict

Inch Lodge and Ferrybridge are the two that really catch the eye here and the narrow vote is given to Inch Lodge. The selection is a well-bred colt by Grand Lodge and providing he takes to the surface on his AW debut he should take plenty of beating. Ferrybridge is a well-bred filly and it would be no surprise to see her go well on her debut. The market will provide the clues here as to the chances of the newcomers but in the absence of that information we narrowly prefer Inch Lodge. La Viola looks the best of those with racecourse experience, but she looks the type who will do better in handicaps. This is a tricky race for punters to call but we will stick with Inch Lodge as the one they have to beat.
