The draw counts against Bahamian Ceilidh, so we will nominate SPIC N' SPAN to get the better of Compton Ford. The selection likes to trailblaze so he has the perfect draw to get to the front from stall one and he could be difficult to catch. He was far from disgraced here last month and with everything in his favour tonight he can gain his compensation. Bahamian Ceilidh is the obvious alternative but she will need the cards to fall perfectly for her if she is to get her head in front from her wide draw and the percentage call would be to take her on. Compton Ford is another that has not been done any favours by the draw and he was well beaten on his only previous try on the all-weather. Bertbrand had our selection in behind when he won over this course and distance last month, but he has since been out and run disappointingly. The race could be run to suit Spic n' Span who gets our vote.
