RING FOR TIME won well at Stratford last month and Dai Burchell's mare has every chance if able to reproduce a similar level of form today and she may be good enough to resume winning ways, getting the vote ahead of Sylroy and Candle. Tom George's mare is capable and ran better at Uttoxeter two starts ago but she has yet to translate her flat form to hurdles and may be best watched even in this poor looking contest. Jimmy Frost's Glacial Call is less exposed than most of her rivals after just three starts in Irish points and she could be of interest on her rules debut for new connections. Gemgaballou has given little sign of encouragement so far, while Nigel Hawke's Itstooearly has yet to even be placed in any of her 14 starts so far and looks best watched. Bill Turner's Sylroy was good value for her Hereford success and she has to be respected on that evidence but she has disappointed in both starts since then and a safer option looks to be Ring For Time.
