Verdict
Pip's Song is back on a winning mark and can land this amateur event at the expense of Feast Of Romance, while Glass Note might be worth watching in the betting. The selection is only one-pound higher than when winning over course and distance in April 2002, and comes here in good heart following a second to Gilded Cove here seven days ago over an inadequate five furlongs. Feast Of Romance, who has won twice over course and distance, is back on a winning mark so is an obvious threat. Glass Note won an Irish maiden in 2001 and a market move might prove interesting. Larky's Lob has won a couple of sellers here while all of Sharp Hat's many wins have come at five and six furlongs. The lightly raced Jagged is open to some improvement on this surface upped in trip, but the drop back in trip for Qobtaan might not be ideal. Saxe-Coburg won at Jebel Ali back in November 2001, but has shown little since returning to these shores, but Royal Windmill has place claims in a modest event.
