Verdict

Cut And Dried, by first season sire Daggers Drawn, takes the eye on breeding but the Willie Jarvis-trained two-year-old is likely to need the outing and preference is for another debutante Sutter's Fort, who gets the vote over Bentley's Ball. David Loder, who has introduced plenty of first time out juvenile winners this term, trains the selection and the American-bred makes plenty of appeal on ground that should suit. Bentley's Ball represents the best public form on offer having run Fortunately to half-a-length at Windsor earlier this month. Richard Hannon's colt has the edge on experience over the selection but we are happy to side with the Loder runner.
